TARGETED BLOG CONTENT
DELIVERING CONTENT THAT RANKS
Our first executable strategy with Dtox was to formulate a Blog Content Calendar, and to begin to post regular blogs that established Dtox as a voice of authority within their industry. Dtox already had the advantage of being in a concentrated niche, and competitor research revealed that similar industries were failing to capitalise on informational blog content.
Therefore we undertook precise keyword research to identify the search terms that Dtox should be ranking for, and wrote blog content that provided entertainment and value around those searches.
Eventually, we started to see big results. As our blogs grew in popularity, they began to climb the rankings which drove hordes of organic traffic to the Dtox site.
CONTENT GAP IDENTIFICATION
INCREASING BACKLINKS WITH UNIQUE CONTENT
Dtox’s blogging strategy was not only built around specific keywords, but also was optimised for filling content gaps. Content that existed around sanitisation equipment hire was either too formal, too dated or lacking in precise information. It also failed to take into account relevant topics that could stem from sanitisation hire, like hygiene procedures.
Through a process of research, we monitored the subjects that weren’t being addressed by other publications and wrote content around that missing information. This enabled our blogs to climb once more as Google recognised Dtox’s domain as a more comprehensive source of information.
In addition to this, we began an outreach strategy and acquired backlinks from high ranking, authoritative domains such as Appropredia and Event Industry News which helped to grow Dtox’s referring domains, driving yet more traffic to the site.
PRODUCING A SITE THAT CONVERTS
Finally, as part of our Search Engine Optimisation recommendations, we worked with a website developer to design a new website for Dtox. Our aims with the new website were to make it more search engine friendly, but also more user friendly.
Many of the competitor sites we studied had aged, clunky designs that were not user intuitive and lacked concise information. To make the user experience more refined, we added in bright graphics, with short, precise snippets of information that were SEO optimised.
In addition, because we knew we would be driving visitors primarily to the sites blogs, we made sure a blog section was created and was easily navigable.
This also produced notable results, such as maintaining steady levels of engaged traffic, reflected in lower bounce rates and higher click through rates.
From having Zero page 1 rankings to a massive 236, D-Tox's website has been transformed with the adoption of the Dandy Marketing SEO strategy. Traffic has increased by more than 300%, with enquiries increasing by over 200% year on year.
