When we began our work with Scanlans we quickly realised that their existing website was no longer fit for purpose. To allow us to drive more traffic and begin to implement our winning SEO strategy, we knew that the website needed to be modernised and optimised both in its on-site content, and in its off-site technical aspects.

 

To overhaul the Scanlans website we worked collaboratively with their team of developers to advise on the new site design, as well as the site structure. We changed the website’s platform so that it was modernised from an administrative perspective and also so that it had modern capabilities such as the ability to add a blog section and track conversions.

 

Once the website was in place we began to implement our content marketing strategy. Our first step was to optimise existing web content and repurpose existing articles. Then we began writing new blog content in the newly added blog section so that we could begin driving traffic through original pieces of content specifically designed around target keywords.

THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO RESIDENTIAL BLOCK MANAGEMENT

As we began to implement our content marketing strategy through new blog content, our next step was to create an original, longform piece of content that would drive traffic to the Scanlans website, gain backlink opportunities, and ultimately produce interest in Scanlans services.

 

Through undertaking keyword research we identified a content gap: Whilst there was a lot of information on Residential Block Management, nobody had compiled all of the information into one useful guide, and so the Complete Guide to Residential Block Management was born.

 

Our complete guide quickly gained backlinks because it was an entirely original, and valuable, piece of content. The mass of backlinks tripled the contents exposure, and boosted Scanlans to position 1 in Search Engine Results Pages (SERP).

STRATEGY

OUR WINNING SEO STRATEGY

At the beginning of our work with Scanlans they challenged us to get them ranking in position 1 in SERP for Residential Block Management. We’re proud to say that we succeeded, and the results are still right there on Google for all to see.

 

To meet the challenge that Scanlans had set for us we followed our winning SEO strategy. Our SEO strategy process involved following steps such as undertaking a thorough SEO audit to identify keywords and content opportunities.

 

The information gained from our audit then built out a content strategy which was aimed at targeting specific keywords and outranking competitors in order to drive traffic to the Scanlans website. Because our content was original, we were also able to begin outreach services and build high quality links to our content which further boosted its ranking.

 

At the time of writing, Scanlans are still seeing the positive results from our work as they also rank #1 in SERP for localised keywords such as Property Management Birmingham and Property Management Leeds.
